Clevenger Design The Troopers, Drums in a Gym, and the Marriott.

While the Troopers were holding camp in a balmy 81 degree Texan February weekend at Poteet High School, I was away from leading the troops in order to adjudicate drums in a gym. I think it hit 60 degrees in St. Louis, Missouri over the weekend. If you’re curious.

I have to thank everyone at Edwardsville High School (Illinois) and the MCCGA circuit for a wonderful Saturday of exciting drum lines. And the best broccoli and cheese soup I’ve ever had in a hospitality room. Oh, and by the way, the chocolate chip cookies were also top-notch. Congratulations to all the performers on Saturday. The MCCGA champions for each class were Hazelwood East (Scholastic Concert), Illinois Valley Central H.S. (Scholastic Novice), Belleville East (Scholastic B), Edwardsville H.S.
